Job Description
Department: Sales
Reports to: Sales Manager
Status: Non-exempt
Job type: Full-time
Work hours: Varying, flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, early evenings, and weekends
A successful Lead Generator works inside of a Costco and represents our company in a professional manner. Rather than selling our product, the Lead Generator only sets appointments for free, in-home, no-obligation estimates with one of our Comfort Advisor Sales Consultants. They complete all lead paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate has prior lead generation or sales experience.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have reliable transportation and a smartphone
- Excellent verbal skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Energetic personality
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Sales or telemarketing experience desired
- Experience in educating customers about the company and our products
- Ability to adhere to safety measures at all times
- Flexibility to work overtime, on-call, and weekends, when necessary
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to multitask
Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to stand, walk, and communicate with the public consumer.
Psychological Demands
This position requires strong psychological stamina and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The Lead Generator must interface productively with all consumers, store owners, and employees.
Working Conditions
The Lead Generator works in a Costco store “Big Box” environment and utilizes HVAC kiosk tools and equipment, iPads, and cell phones to perform work.
